9 communities will get awards for excellence in downtown revitalization during the North Carolina Principal Avenue Awards ceremony held in Statesville on Wednesday evening.

Salisbury was honored for the Bankett Station in the Best Infill Building Task group and for the Bell Town Inexperienced Park in Very best Out of doors Place Enhancement group.
